Reception – Year 6
The school gates open early at 8:05am and children can come straight into the classroom for a soft start. The school day starts and registers are taken at 8:20am.
Children arriving after 8:20am must check in at the office. Classes close at 2:30pm and enrichment runs from 2:30–3:30pm. Students attend approximately 32.5 hours weekly.
Nursery
Nursery has a soft start from 7:45 to 8:30am. Parents can drop their child any time during this slot.
The morning session begins at 8:50am and concludes at 11:30am. Afternoon sessions end at 2:25pm or 3:25pm if children participate in enrichment activities.
Attendance and Punctuality
Regular attendance is mandatory unless children are ill or have medical appointments. Parents must inform the school in writing in advance where possible or, in the case of illness, call the school and choose Option 2.
Permission for other absences requires written requests to the Headteacher and must meet established criteria. Unauthorised absences will be recorded as such.
Early Closing
During the winter months, we have shortened Fridays to allow for Shabbat times. Specific dates appear on the term calendar.
Wrap-Around Care
Children can be on the school premises from 7:30am–6:00pm.
A breakfast club operates daily. An after-school programme runs from 3:30–6:00pm with limited availability. Additional private activities include cookery, art, multi-sports and drama.
