The Sports and PE Premium programme began in 2013, with schools receiving allocations based on pupil enrolment. Wolfson Hillel’s annual allocation is £19,500.
2023–24 Allocation
Current funding priorities include:
- Continuing the Enfield PE partnership
- Maintaining GetSet4PE for assessment and teaching improvement
- Upgrading equipment for playtime, PE lessons and enrichment
- Engaging ELMS coaches for dynamic programming
- Refreshing sports kits
2022–23 Allocation
Funding was directed toward:
- Enhancing educator expertise through collaboration with a PE specialist and training course attendance
- Staffing lunchtime and after-school sporting clubs
- Expanding sporting clubs during enrichment and after-school hours, including gymnastics, dance, multi-sports, tennis, hockey, football, cricket, rugby, rounders and music and movement
- Acquiring playground gym equipment
- Organising a redesigned sports day with competitive elements
- Appointing a PE lead to advance sports initiatives
- Employing lunchtime coaches for pupil training and supervised play
- Participating in the Maccabi Jewish Inter School Programme
- Purchasing access to Enfield sports programmes and tournaments
- Implementing Get Set 4 PE curriculum and staff training
